Wear protection at
the roll flange.
In flanged HPGR designs, the flange forms part of the material-confinement arrangement at the roll ends. Its exposed surfaces encounter abrasive material during operation.
Flange wear parts protect specified areas of this assembly. Their profile, wear-layer arrangement and mounting interface need to match the equipment design and operating clearances.
Wear surface matched to the application
Discuss carbide grade and wear-element layout based on the handled material, observed abrasion and impact conditions.
Geometry matched to the assembly
Confirm the curved profile, thickness, mounting features and adjacent component clearances before manufacture.
Replacement based on the existing part
A drawing or sample provides the basis for dimensional review. Part numbers and photographs help identify the component.
Define the part before manufacture.
Dimensions and material properties are confirmed for each drawing. The following items establish the quotation and inspection basis.
| Product | HPGR flange wear component / flange protection segment |
|---|---|
| Application | Specified flange wear zones on flange-equipped HPGR assemblies |
| Geometry | Curvature, segment outline and overall dimensions to the approved drawing |
| Wear material | WC-based cemented carbide; grade and wear-element arrangement to be agreed |
| Backing & joining | Backing material and joining method to be confirmed for the required construction |
| Mounting interface | Holes, locating features, fixing method and clearances as specified |
| Tolerances & inspection | Critical dimensions, material requirements and acceptance criteria agreed before production |
| Quantity & delivery | Confirmed with the quotation after technical review |

Before you order
Is this a complete flange assembly?
This page covers flange wear components. Specify whether you need an individual segment, wear protection component or complete assembly so the supply scope can be confirmed.
Will it fit any HPGR?
Flange configurations and mounting interfaces vary between equipment designs. Fit must be checked against the relevant drawing and assembly; a photograph alone does not establish compatibility.
Can you work from a sample?
Send clear photographs and available dimensions first. If sample-based development is required, we can discuss measurement needs and drawing confirmation before production.
What service life can I expect?
Service life depends on ore characteristics, loading, component design and operating conditions. An assessment requires application information and, where available, wear records from the existing part.
Can I request material and inspection records?
Specify the records and acceptance criteria you require with your inquiry. Applicable material and component inspections can then be included in the quotation scope.
